DC Universe just revealed the teaser trailer to season two of the streaming service’s hit series, Titans, the dark and gritty adaptation of Teen Titans. Though it doesn’t reveal how season one’s cliffhanger was resolved, with Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) being enslaved by Trigon (Seamus Dever), it does give us a glimpse on characters we can expect to see in the new season.

New to the team includes Drew Van Acker as Aqualad, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson/Ravager, and Joshua Orpin as Superboy, with Krypto the Super Dog.

Game Of Thrones star Ian Glen joins the series as Bruce Wayne, finally bringing Dick Grayson’s mentor to the series. Also, the team will be facing against one of the most popular Titans villains, Deathstroke, played by Esai Morales. DC Universe describes Deathstroke as “DC’s deadliest assassin, who’s on a path of darkness and revenge after government testing enhanced his physiology to superhuman levels.”

Other glimpses we have in the teaser includes Raven’s new look including the jewel on her forehead, some classic costume looks, and plenty of action. No word on if the Doom Patrol, who made their DC Universe debut in an episode of the series, will be guest starring in season two. As we edge close to the season two premiere, more information may become available, and when it does, SCIFI.radio will bring it to you.

Titans is executive produced by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti. The series returns to DC Universe on September 6 in the United States, Netflix will carry the series for our European fans.
