It’s finally 2017, which means we’re that much closer the arrival of one of DC’s finest – Wonder Woman

The Patty Jenkins-directed feature, starring Gal Gadot in the title role, will be the latest installment in Warner Bros.’ ambitious DC Films Universe. Everybody who saw Batman v Superman couldn’t help but come away with the impression that Gal Gadot was one of the best parts of the movie. With the November release of Justice League waiting in the wings, many are hoping that this movie can help pull things back around into a DC comics on screen universe the fans actually recognize.

In addition to Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Lucy Davis, and Danny Huston will co-star.

Here’s the second international trailer for Wonder Woman. It’s in Russian, and is a new cut of mostly recycled footage with a few new shots sprinkled in. Check it out below:

The value of watching trailers in languages other than the one(s) you speak is the ability to separate the dialog from the visuals. You get to really study what makes the footage great, and you can really learn from it. Even for non-filmmakers, it reveals a lot about the art involved in the making of a film, and can tell you a lot about whether you’re going to like the movie when you finally get to see it.

We think we’re going to like it.
