We found this and can’t stop watching it. This is the work of a Patreon artist who calls himself Smooth McGroove. What he does is music, and with only the power of his own voice, he recreates music from popular video games. And it is awesome.  Pause the SCIFI.radio stream while you listen to this awesome cut.

Smooth McGroove has made the leap to being fully supported by his work on Patreon. Yep, that’s right, he does this for a living. He gets over thousand dollars per song he releases, and has hundreds of patrons, and he sure makes them happy. It’s hard not to listen to his work and not be happy. He’s got dozens of tracks available, all published as YouTube videos. It’s a classic demonstration of why patronage of the arts – even the geeky arts – is a good thing. Mr. McGroove, you brighten our world.
