You’ve all seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens by now, right?  Well don’t worry, this isn’t a spoiler.  But remember that time when Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren were in a folk band with Justin Timberlake and they sang this song about not wanting to go into outer space?

Uhhhh.  To be honest, us neither. Until we were shown this clip from the 2013 movie Inside Llewyn Davis, where this unlikely event happened.

The film, written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen,  Inside Llewyn Davis follows a week in the life of a young folk singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Though it has nothing to do with science fiction or fantasy movies at all, it does feature Adam Driver in a cowboy hat playing a man named Arthur Milgram, whose stage name is Al Cody. It also stars Oscar Isaac, whom we know better as Poe Dameron. Neither of the two men of interest were cast in the Star Wars movie when this was made, but it does show us just how amazingly talented these guys really are.

Enjoy the music, and Happy Holidays from SCIFI.radio.

Now go watch Star Wars: Please, Katheen Kennedy.
