[krvod url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGogidkqUsQ#t=0] Psycho Soup is today’s Video of the Day, and it’s just loaded with Pogo’s special brand of musical wonderment with a healthy dash of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. This time Pogo has cannibalized the popular computer game Borderlands 2, creating both the visuals and the music drawing from no other source. Fortunately you don’t have to have played the game to enjoy the video. If you do know the game you’ll recognize all the characters – especially the quirky, bombastic robot Claptrap, who observes that his head is at your crotch level, but comments that he’s trying not to think about that.

Pogo (Nick Bertke from Perth, Western Australia) has been making music from found material since 2007, working at times with Disney / Pixar to produce songs based on their movies. He’s released a number of albums that you can purchase on iTunes, and his YouTube videos have garnered well over a million views.

Pogo has a great feel for what sounds will make good music and what source material will make the best songs, and Psycho Soup is proof. And yes, you can hear this cut on SCIFI.radio.
