Disney just announced that they’ve completed principal photography on the next Star Wars movie, and they’ve announced its title: The Force Awakens. The tweet was accompanied by the graphic of the Star Wars logo with the subtitle, but interestingly enough no “Episode VII” is anywhere to be seen in it. Of course this could mean nothing at all, but one wonders if they’re scrapping episode numbers entirely to accommodate the various spinoff movies they’ve planned.
Personally I feel like it’s a bland, unexciting title. As cheesy as The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones sound,at least they told us something. However, when we consider The Force Awakens? Sounds more like a forgettable tie-in video game. What do you think of the title? Sound off in the comments below.
