Disney has been devouring everything in sight.  Star Wars, in particular, was sold to Disney by George Lucas and ILM in 2012.  This makes Disney a prime target for parody, and today’s Video of the Day really nails it down tight.

The whole thing was shot against green screen, with backgrounds shot as hand-painted multi-plane compositions just as a Disney animated film would be.  The singing on these things tends to be a little on the marginal side, but not this time.  The assembly of performers appearing herein are as good as you’ll find, and frankly, if they applied the same techniques to creating their own stories it would almost qualify as a new art form.

We laughed, we cried, we kissed eight minutes goodbye.  You will too.

Enjoy.
