SCIFI.radio First Look: ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’

[krvod url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sHMCRaS3ao]There have been a virtual monkey pile of Apes movies, and now they’re going through the entire storyline again with a reboot of the movie series.  This Apes movie, sequal to last year’s surprise hit Rise of the Planet of the Apes, however, may be the best one yet if this trailer is any indication.  No longer are the filmmaker’s story lines slave to which effects are possible and which ones aren’t.  This frees them to write the stories as they need to be written.

Will Dawn of the Planet of the Apes measure up?  Keep an eye out for our review as 20^th Century Fox’s July 11 release date draws nearer.  In the meantime, watch this exciting new trailer.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is directed by Matt Reeves, and stars Gary Oldman, Keri Russel and Andy Serkis (yes, that Andy Serkis).
