The creators of short subjects have a more challenging task, in some ways, than those who create feature length films. The entire story, character development and all,  has to fit in a very small space.  The effects are perfect.  Bianca Malinowski’s performance as Arya is immediately absorbing and engaging.  The back story provides a solid bedrock for the film, and feels to be on a grand enough scale that an entire feature film could be made from it.

Arya is the last remaining member of her family, a lineage with a unique genetic code that grants the ability to survive the folding of temporal and spatial boundaries. In short, she can teleport. Tasked with exploring new planets, she is in search of something that will explain who exactly she is and where she comes from.

Raphael Rogers has done every bit of work on this film except the acting itself, and it’s a masterful effort.

Enjoy.
