The much anticipated trailer for the eighth episode of the Star Wars saga has finally hit our galaxy. Prepare to feel one with the Force, and all the feels, while you watch the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi below. (If you’re on your desktop rather than your phone or tablet, be sure to pause the radio stream using the handy control above before you play the trailer.)

We finally get to see glimpses of where we left our galactic heroes and villains after the cliffhanger ending of The Force AwakensRey is trying to find her place in the galaxy, while attempting to convince a hesitant (and speaking) Luke Skywalker to train her in the ways of the Force. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren clearly struggles in going down the quick and easy path of the Dark Side, under the tutelage of Supreme Leader Snoke. Looks like we’ll finally see him not as a giant, menacing hologram. All the while, General Leia is trying to lead the Resistance against the New Order that has arisen from the ashes of the Empire. That last moment of Kylo Ren reaching his hand out to a lost Rey will have us all talking until the movie release.

Just before the release of the trailer online and on TV, this official poster was revealed. Ticket sales were immediately available for purchase after the trailer released, and no doubt theaters are selling out fast. Only this time, it seems the servers for ticket sale websites are a little more prepared than the tidal wave of hopeful Star Wars fans in 2015 that caused many websites to crash.

Returning to a galaxy far, far away are Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Daisy Ridley as Rey, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Billie Lourd as Lieutenant Connix, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Anthony Daniels as Threepio, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo and Carrie Fisher in her last time as General Leia Organa Solo.

Directed and written by Rian Johnson, The Last Jedi will screen in theaters December 15, 2017.
